Get Your Baby Nursery Hopping with These Fun Ideas

If frogs are your fancy, why not decorate your baby's room using a baby frog nursery theme? Chances are your baby will love these fascinating, big-eyed creatures as much as you do. Frogs are also a great idea for parents-to-be who don't know the sex of the baby just yet, since animal themes are unisex. Famous Frogs If you're uncertain where to begin, take a tip from the frog characters you loved as a child. An obvious choice would be Kermit the Frog, the toad with a 'tude, along with other Sesame Street characters. You can easily find bedding and even furniture for your baby's nursery that will match this theme. Another beloved character is Mr. Toad from the book, Wind in the Willows. Along with Wind in the Willows bedding, you can place the classic book on your baby's book shelf, along with a Mr. Toad stuffed animal to complete the look. All Eyes Frogs appeal to babies because children are drawn to faces in general, and to their eyes in particular. Select frog toys with large eyes. "Google-eyed" frogs will delight your baby. A stuffed frog beanbag chair will please your baby as she grows into a toddler. Colors Green and brown are colors that can easily coordinate with others. Your choice of a frog nursery will leave you with plenty of color coordinating options. If your greens have a bluish tint, accessorize with aqua-blue bedding, trim or wall hangings. For deeper greens, earth colors will blend beautifully and be soothing to your baby. You needn't be limited to green frogs. Whimsical frogs in purple, orange, stripes or plaids will stimulate your child's visual skills and add charm to his or her nursery.
